Kari Samantha Wuhrer (born on April 28th, 1967) is an American actor and a singer. The career of Wuhrer began when she was still in her teens. Her most famous performances include Maggie Beckett, an actress in the film Sliders as well as Sheriff Samantha Parker from the horror comedy Eight Legged Freaks. Wuhrer is the daughter of Karin Noble (nee Noble) working as a payroll accountant and German American Andrew Wuhrer (a officer and dealer in cars). She has three siblings. In her teens, she performed at nightclubs when she escaped from her home. At the Wooster School, at the age of 13 and began to study drama. Then, at the Tisch School of the Arts of New York University, Marymount Manhattan College at Columbia University and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London, with the renowned teacher Uta Hagen. Wuhrer was a student. She was born April 28 the 28th of April, 1967 in Brookfield Connecticut. Kari was born in Connecticut's Brookfield on April 28, 1967. Kari has three siblings. In her early years as teenager, she performed in nightclubs by sneaking away from her home. Kari started acting in the Wooster school at the age of thirteen, and went into drama school at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, Columbia University Marymount Manhattan College as well the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art under renowned Uta Hagen. Kari started acting at the age of a teenager. Her first breakthrough occurred in 1987, when she was introduced to MTV Remote Control.
